FAQs

Lauren is currently booking up to two years in advance, so please do get in touch to secure your date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

A minimum of four services per bridal booking on all bridal bookings Thursday – Sunday. If you have a large bridal party, Lauren often brings an assistant or has many friends in the industry to assist with larger bookings.

A £50 deposit is required at point of booking to secure your date. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from your final wedding balance. Your final balance will be invoiced and is due four weeks before your wedding date.

A trial is recommended to trial various looks and products. You can try different brands of products, colours to suit you, a variety of hairstyles, and hair accessories. Often it is the first time people are trying lashes and it helpful to see how the hair/makeup sits and lasts throughout the day. It also really saves time on the wedding morning prep as I am recreating what we have already tried. However, it is not essential, as Lauren has worked with many brides without trials, for example if they live abroad.

A trial is recommended three – six months prior to your wedding date. Once you have your dress, veil if you are having one and if you any hair accessories. For the trial, Lauren can travel to you at your home or can be salon based in Cambridge where she hires a private room.

Lauren believes you should look like you, only enhanced, on your wedding day. She is recognised for her natural makeup style and flawless skin. Your wedding day is not the day to experiment with bright colours and fashion trends. Lauren will suggest colours and styles to suit your skin tone and eye colour and to tie in with the theme of your wedding. She will request photos of looks to get an idea of style that you like.

With the use of premium products including primer, a long-wear foundation, setting spray and powder, the makeup will last all day.  Lauren recommends having your lipstick handy as this will wear off after eating and drinking.  Other than that, she suggests a powder in case of shine (particularly in the summer months). If you feel you might need a touch-up stick then have a designated bridesmaid with this on hand. If you are worried, Lauren is available to stay until after the ceremony for touch-ups. Her usual suggestions are to try not to touch your face throughout the day and catch tears to avoid the tear streak.
